WoW is she stinky!

Hi, we are the happy owners of a 4 month old Boston named Zoe. The amount of gas that comes out of that little girl you would think she was a Mastif! Any way to de stink her?

To help de-stinkify
by: Anonymous

We give our two Bostons a tablespoon of PLAIN Yogurt (not vanilla, just plain) in the morning and one tablespoon at night. It has GREATLY helped with their smelly digestion and they aren't farting NEARLY as much as they used to.

We use a generic yogurt made by Target (Market Pantry or Archer Farms, can't remember which). Our Bostons are 2 years and 1 year, so you should probably give your little one a smaller amount, maybe a teaspoon in the morning and a teaspoon at night.

Just like in humans, the natural bacteria in the yogurt will help their digestive tracts. We also feed our two Blue Buffalo which is the best dry food we have ever found.

Our vet whole-heartily agrees that giving our dogs yogurt is a healthy and helpful thing to do.

Hope that helps! :)

Stinky BT
by: Mary

You can try different foods to avoid the nasty gas that BT's are well known for. We finally ended up feeding ours Blue Buffalo Fish and Sweet Potato but I am warning you...they still have a stinky every now and then so don't take off the clothes-pins yet! My kids sneak them a little of this and they pick up a little of that in the yards on their walks...so stinky they remain. It does seem to be a lot less since we switched foods.
