Will my boston grow more?

by Rachel

My boston terrier Louis is 10 months old and only 9lbs - he has a very small bone frame for a boston, yet you can still see his bones and we feed him twice as much as is required and he has not yet put on any weight - Will he get any larger with age? He is the tiniest boston we've ever seen and the vet told us he might gain weight after being neutered but he has not, and that was 6 months ago. Anyone have a similar scenario with their boston?

We have two boston terriers. The three year old girl is 19 lbs. The five year old guy is 39 lbs. The little girl is the boss. She pushes him around and plays with him. He such a lunk.

Very cute!

He looks very cute, and if his bone structure is small, and he's already 10 months old, I would say he isn't going to get any bigger than he is. Bostons come in different sizes, you have a very small one, and as long as he is fit and healthy, that's fine. We have two heavy bostons and our friend has a tiny, light one like yours. Please don't overfeed him. Give him the right amounts of food, and he'll remain healthy and lively.

Bostons come in a ton of different sizes, I have heard of a few bostons that are only 9 pounds, you got a boston in the low weight class, enjoy him!
