Boston terriers are very loving and unique as I am sure most dogs are.........My Boston terrier is very unique I have never seen one like him before! He is not only white faced but has only 1 blue eye and 1 brown eye! Everyone that sees him just simply falls in love!

I lost my little pug one day and was very sad, but on that same evening, my husband comes home with this tiny little thing they called a Boston terrier...Looked at him, fell in love and he fits in my pocket,so decided to adopt him...
3 years later, he's the most adorable, gorgeous, intelligent dog we ever had..and those big blue eyes..OMG....but, he does not fit in my pocket anymore but that's o.k.
When I get home from work, I'm sure to find him bundled up under a warm blanket...listening to country music on tv ahahahah...we love him very much.

I also just rescued a white face blue eyed boston. My family feel in love with her and just cant understand how someone could of dumped her off. I am finding she can not hear. She does not even flinch or stop snoring when the door bell rings, kidsrun by or I come in from work. As i am readig more of these comments i am seeing these traits in bostons seem to be the ones that people give them up. I just dont understand this, this little dog I have on my lap now is so loving, gentle, and just a really good dog, i can imagine giving her up even if she cant hear.

I also have a (mostly) white face boston terrier. I was worried in the beginning that she might be deaf, and even if she was, the family was already in love with her. But still, she is now a year and 2 months old, the most alert dog there is, she listens to everything.

People also thought that her blue eyes would turn brown (which is absolutely absurd), but she is a beauty, even with all her pinkness. Everytime we talk her somewhere, people have to stop us and ask about her.

here, a picture of her, it is old (from when she was a puppy), but I don't have a newer picture on this computer.

I also have a white faced blue eyed Boston Terrier that is deaf, but I don't care & love her just the way she is. She has learned hand signs & is just like any other dog. I bought her from a breeder & when I first layed eyes on her, I thought she was the most beautiful Boston I'd ever seen. The breeder told me she might be deaf because of the blue eyes & white head, but @ the time she was only 6 wks. old, too young to leave her mom & it was too soon to tell if she was actually deaf. I just couldn't believe this gorgeous dog could be deaf. Anyway, we picked her up a few wks. later and as the wks. went by, we realized she was actually deaf, but it just didn't matter. She has brought me such joy, laughter & unconditional love.

We just rescued a brindle Boston Terrier from a shelter. He has beautiful blue eyes and white face and a brindle coat. He is DEAF and was given up because of this. He is a smart dog as his other senses work overtime! He actually watched basketball plays on television and can easily follow the ball. I have read that the blue eyes and deafness is due to a defective gene. Either way - I don't care...we love him!

I have a boston that I too rescued (I see a trend here) that has a white face (with just a little black on her muzzle) with an eye that's only half blue!!! Same thing, people are intimidated by her but she's the biggest baby ever!!!

My BT too has a white face and crystal blue eyes! We adopted her from the Cimarron Humane Society in Oklahoma. She is wonderful! I think they look more beautiful with the blue eyes, don't you?
