weird head bobbing

My 5 month old BT Lily has developed a weird head bobbing. It started when we switched or I should say she switched her food to the adult food. She stopped eating puppy food (any puppy food) no mater what we did to it. All we can get her to eat is the adult Science diet our other dogs eat. Now she does this weird head bobbing, her head bobs three or four times up and down and then she is fine. She seams to do this more when she is sleepy. Could this be from the food?

Bobble Heads

Our 3 yr-old Male boston did this one time. One of our females was in heat and we were not planning a litter right then. He was under a lot of stress and all of the sudden his head bobbled. It was so strange so we did a little research. It seems that some pups do this and they do not know exactly why. We could not get it to happen again for our vet to see but he said that he would not worry about it for now. It has not repeated at all in 6 months. There is a video on You Tube that shows exactly what he was doing. It's on this website:
A case of Idiopathic head bobbing http://hubpages.com/hub/Head-bobbing-in-dogs

Check with your vet and see what his recommendations are. Ours said that unless there are more symptoms, nothing needs to be done at this time.

Good Luck and let us know what you find out.
