Do I leave a water bowl in the cage while I'm gone?
Not sure if I should leave a bowl in there or not. He tends to flip his bowl over almost every time.

Try a different bowl!

I have a 3 1/2 month old BT named Milo. We tried the water bowl in his crate too and it was a mess! I agree with the first poster, try the water bottle idea. It works great for Milo. They also have bowls that attach to the crate. I found mine at Wal-Mart. The bottle worked better for me though because Milo will drink the water to fast if he has the bowl. The bottle lasts him all day. Good Luck!

Maybe if you tried a water bottle, like the ones that are used for rabbits, or other small animals. That way he has the ability to get the water, but he shouldn't be able to spill it! GOOD LUCK!
