Vet choice

I went to the vet for the immunization of my BT
The Vet seemed a bit pitchy like a salesman.
She gave me a sample bag of puppy food that she was selling there to try. It was originally made by PURINA (Nestle) so i was a bit worried about the nutritional value and since this specific blend was not on the evaluation list found in this very site i did the evaluation myself following the procedure described.
It scored 47 so that is an F. Like all the Purina stuff anyway.
Should i trust a Vet that is recommending such a bad product? I don't think so.
What do you think about that?
My idea is to switch Vet for another clinic i found that is promoting MEDICAL brand from Royal Canin.
Am i right?

Truly I think It's up to you what you feed your dog. Every dog is different with what they will eat and what their system will tolerat. My puppy was raised on puppy chow and have switched several times as she is a picky eater. Do the comparisons yourself and you should be able to do the math regarding the nutrition. Vets only make recommendations! Dogs eat like a person one day they like something the next day they don't. I have found Bostond to be the worst picky eaters LOL.Good luck and you be the judge.
