Two Male Boston Terrier Puppies (From the same litter)

I have two male Boston Terrier puppies that are from the same litter. They are 8 weeks old. Is it normal for them to fight roughly with each other? When I say rough I mean really rough. One of the brothers was dragging the other one across the floor by his ear. Should I separate them from each other or keep them together?

normal ?
by: Bill

I have a male bojack 11 wks old and my friend has his sister my puppy drags her around by her ear, leg, whatever and she just keeps coming back for more. They're tough dogs - it's probably normal for them to play this way. If it gets too rough, swat them with a paper and say no. It doesn't really hurt them, but the noise of the paper and a very firm "no" does help.

Rough Play
by: Mary

Yes...puppies actually NEED to play with another pup for a while. Ours are pretty rough too. I only stop them when someone whines like they are hurt. They need to play with another pup in order to learn not to bite hard. I guess you would call that nibbling. That way when they play with a human there is no blood involved! :)
