The Gang

We have three Boston Terriers - two males and one female. They are all about one year apart. Spank was our first and we fell in love......so then we got Emma and now we have Roscoe. Spank is 7 years old, Emma is 6, and Roscoe is "the baby" at 5. They are so alike in so many ways, yet each one has their own "personality". Spank is "goofy", Emma is "motherly" and tries to keep "the boys" in line. Roscoe is a little timid. They are a real family and we love them all dearly. Spank is actually my son's dog, who lives next door, therefore, Spank spends A LOT of time with us and his brother and sister. Emma belongs to my husband and me and Roscoe is my grandson's baby and they live with us (good thing we have a large house and yard........never a dull moment in this house!) Spank is special because he broke his leg when he was just a little fellow. The leg is now crooked, but he runs and plays and it doesn't seem to bother him and because he was the first, he is special. He also has one blue eye! He is the lover and also the aggressor. Emma is a little overweight and pretty much spoiled rotten! Roscoe is the "barker" and a little cautious of things.

BT's personalities

I know what you mean. Jack's "The Man" and Emma puts the Boss in Boston.

We have 4dogs. My mom has Sandy who's 6 and weighs 40lbs. Then my three: BB who's 4 and weighs 80lbs, Jack who's 17mos and weighs 26lbs, and then li'l Emma who's 7mos and weighs 15lbs. They all get along, so that's good.

Jack's "The Man" because everytime that the dogs are all barking at someone at the door, Jack's up front as if he's going protect the ladies. Emma's "The Boss" cuz she tries to keep everyone in line. Any toy the others have that's the one she's gotta have!

It's funny that the other night my mom's cat Gabbee and my cat Josie started to play after everyone's asleep. Yanno, when the dogs are away, the cats will play. lol So Emma barks at the noise she heard, not realizing it's the cats. Woke me and the dogs up. The other dogs just look at her with one eye open as if to say, "We're not getting up to bark at the cats playing".
