Colonel The Watch Dog
My beloved Colonel came into our lives when he was eight months old. He was owned by an elderly lady whose daughter felt her incapable of taking care of him; so the daughter was going to send him to the Dog Shelter. To make a very long story short we wanted Colonel, so they gave him to us.
Colonel celebrated his eighth birthday this past June 12th. The vet calls him Mr. handsome; she says he is perfectly marked, one of the best looking BT’s she has ever seen. Colonel of course loves the ladies and they him. He is so sociable, when we have company Colonel sits on the couch, not the floor, like he is human and joins in the conversation. We call him our four legged son and he does feel like our child. He loves both of us, but he is my constant companion. Colonel loves to wear sweaters and scarves around his neck. In my opinion the Boston Terrier is the dog for a family pet, they are intelligent, clean, protective, playful and loyal. Rescuing Colonel was the smartest thing we have ever done.
