Stop the Marking

I have an extremely playful 5 month old Boston who my partner and I absolutely adore. We used the kennel to potty train which we have pretty down pat. The only problem is he now pees or marks the blankets in his kennel but that is only thing he marks. Is there any way to stop this? Please help....

Take the blankets out of the crate/kennel. We had a bloodhound puppy who did this, and that cured her! Within a week or so, you can try putting a thin blanket back in and see what happens, if anything...
