It was love at first sight. I had just moved to the Houston area and was thinking of getting a dog but wasn't sure when or what breed. I decided however, to check out the local humane society just to see where it was and how it operated. I had no intention of adopting a dog that day.

Once I signed in I went to the first den where there were about 4 or 5 dogs but, there was this one dog who was sitting by the door almost as though he was waiting for me. I knew I could not leave without him.

I filled out the necessary paperwork made my donation and home we went. He fit right in and took over!

He's full of energy, funny and very affectionate and just pure love. Oh and quite the little flirt with the ladies!

He did fail dog training but that's ok, he learned at his own pace and has kept that free spirit of his. He is definitely the boss of me.
