Snozzle
by Tina Bennet
(Phoenix, New York, USA)
He has the fur, legs and tail of a Jack Russell with a face of a Boston Terrier. He runs like the wind when you speak even whisper the word "treat." He can be at the far end of the yard but that is the magic word for him.
He was a rescue that the dog warden found and we adopted last year. He is ultimately loveable and flops, props and snores wherever he ends up. Beside you, on top of you, next to you in bed. He acts like a teddy bear and doesn't care how you hold him, squeeze him or....
He loves to play especially with our Rottweiler - Butch. Hours of entertainment.
He is super smart and was easy to train.
He loves to be called a "good boy."
He doesn't care if you put him in dog clothes.
He can peel a candy wrapper and eat the candy inside. If you are not careful, he would eat an entire bowl of Starbursts. And, if you leave a chair out he can get onto the kitchen counter and gobble up any food left unattended.
He freezes like a cardboard statute when he doesn't want to do what you need him to do - like go outside when he knows you still have food in your hand.
Great dog! Your lucky if you are able to get one.
