Smelly Boston Terrier

my 3 yr old boston female sometimes give off a sardine smelling odor. when she is like that bathing don't help what can I do to keep her from smelling this way?

The smell could be that her anal glands are full, and need to be expressed. You can find info on the web on how to do it yourself - but it is rather gross. Your vet or a groomer can do it relatively inexpensively.This happens frequently to dogs that eat table scraps, or a lot of soft food. Dragging the rear to "itch" it is a sign that glands need to be dealt with
