I have been breeding Boston Terriers for five years I have had great luck with all First litter was 8 puppies 5 boys 3 females all born vaginally, Second Litter was 11 Puppies 1 was still born(we tried) But all the while during the welping proccess Mother did fantastic, Last litter she had 5 all beautiful healthy puppies. I think it is a good idea to have vet on standby and if you are not comfortable welping yourself then take her to the vet!!! Get a C-Section by all means I have been very lucky as has my Dazy. GOOD LUCK!!! Sometimes I find the info you find on the web very frightning just know your dog and by all means speak with your vet......

Most of the bostons need c-section because of the head size of puppies. If you let the mom go through the labor without the vet's presence many complication can happen (even the mom can die). So have the vet visit your boston mom, he or she will tell you what to expect and they will let you know how to reach them as soon as the boston mom goes into labor. Please do not take any chance on doing it on your own because things happen so fast and you will regret later on. I am speaking of experience from a close friend. So keep a close contact with the vet and they won't leave u on your own when u need help. Good luck and please take care of this precious mom with her upcoming puppies.
