What are some signs of eye problems? My female is running around barking like she is afraid of something & knocking things over. My kids are afraid of her now.

Signs of Eye Problems in Boston Terriers?
Please don't guess or waste any time with this. I just had to have one of my Toy Fox Terrier's eye's removed - one year after surgery for lens luxation. Eye issues are usually very painful conditions and time is of the essence in getting them checked. Terriers are renowned for eye problems, according to the opthamologist we were referred to. I wish you luck and hope it's nothing but urge you to get to your vet ASAP. Please post after you learn what the problem is (or isn't).

signs of eye problems by: Patty
Oh dear! I would take her to a veterinarian to rule out any medical issues first. I know my BT is slowly losing his eyesight due to cataracts and he gets very nervous in the car when there are shadows and movement. He shakes and gets very anxious. It's difficult for him to see through the cataracts and I think it's scary for him. On days that are cloudy he's much better in the car. Soon I may not take him in the car any longer. It's not fair getting him all anxious. I'm not saying your girl has eye problems since I'm not a vet. Something else could be going on medically. If your vet rules out health reasons perhaps it's behavioral? Another possibility is pre-seizure activity??? My BT sometimes he's snaps at bugs that aren't there and I've been told it's preseizure activity and I need to get his attention off of it. I wish you luck. Let us know what you find out.
