Shelby

Our little Shelby is 9 months old. We got her when she was just over a month old. We bought her at a pet store. Didn't really know what she was and had never heard of her mix but feel in love with her cute little face. She is very smart and has learned really well. Rarely has any accidents inside. Is very playful and loves to go for short walks. She has very strong jaws and goes through toys pretty quickly. She is very loving and loves to cuddle up close when she lays down for a nap. This is our first puppy and we have loved every minute of it. Entering a new first for us. Shelby has just gone into heat and doesn't understand why she can't come inside.

Not allowed inside explained
by: Monica

I didn't mean she was outside in a yard. She is confined to a small area inside by patio door. She can come and go as she pleases, she just doesn't have the run of the apartment because it's all carpet. We spend plenty of time with her and take her out on walks, so she doesn't feel lonely or is cooped up all the time.

not allowed inside

How could you ever do that? It is cruel that you won't let her inside because she is in heat. Even though she is a mix she is still Boston. Not allowing her to be inside due to a heat cycle is just about the meanest thing you can do to a Boston. They are bred to be companion dogs. They have no other purpose. Put a diaper on her until it's over and then get her spayed if she doesn't end up pregnant being left outside. Male dogs will smell her miles away ad females left to their own will find their own male. If she will not keep a diaper on than put her in an area with tile that is easy to clean. They don't bleed much at all.

So gorgeous

Love your little girl. We have a Bugg that looks just like yours. She is 7 months old now, her name is Charlie ( you can see her under the Bugg list) Not yet been on heat. She was also brilliant at potty training.
We'd get another if we could afford the vet bills. She will be spade very soon so hopefully we won't have to keep her outside. :)
