Shackleford

My one-year-old is great. He's stubborn as can be, and too clever for his own good, but he's fun to play with, and genuinely affectionate. Every time I go to the bathroom he waits outside the door for me to return. He can sit pretty well, and lie down, but I have not been able to get him to "come" yet. He's seems to respond better to hand signals combined with commands than just commands.

Also, I think he's one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen. Full, grown, people always think he's a pit bull puppy, or ask what kind of dog he is.

He has had some problems with cherry eye, but so far occasional ointment has kept it under control and hopefully he won't need surgery.

So many people think my boston terrier/pug is a baby pit!! Some people are scared of him lol I think it's so funny. I guess its because of the brindle?

We have a Bugg too. He sits on command but we can't get him to come. Oh, he comes when he's finished what he's doing, but... Sometimes I tell him to sit as I walk towards him and manage to capture him that way!
