Serena Jane was born 6/11/06 in Bradenton, Fl. She is just an amazing companion, lots of fun, a fast learner, a great pet therapy dog, and filled with love! She loves to play ball, dance, and snuggle. She remembers names, sounds, and people. But Serena?s best work was going to see Poppop (my dad) every day after his radiation treatments for pet therapy. She would run right into the house right past Nana and go room to room to find him and jump on his lap and sleep with him to keep him warm. She did this everyday for more than a year and Poppop moved. A year later we went to visit Poppop in California. We flew with Serena under our seat for 8 hours and went into freezing weather to drive to see him. We got to the strange house and Nana opened the door and said hello and Serena flew through the house looking for Poppop and jumped right up in his lap. She stayed there for 5 days visiting and gave Poppop so much attention and love just as she did during his treatments. She is our baby and just one of the greatest Bostons ever!
