Separation anxiety

My 14 month old female Boston has to be with me all the time. She follows me everywhere will only go out on a leash if I am holding it. She won't even take treats from anyone but me. My husband and son call her moms fan club. I got her when she was 6 weeks old and she was the runt. The breeder told us they never handled her like the other puppies. She is a great dog and I love her so much but I really want her to be happy even when I'm not by her side.

My girl Darcy is the same way. We got her when she was 6 weeks old and from that point on she's been by my side. If I sit on the couch she has to be beside me. She sleeps beside me in the bed. If she sees me walk outside she stands at the door and whines and scratches to get out with me. Sometimes its annoying but she's just comfortable with me. When I go back to work I'm worried she'll get out of hand when I'm not here. Can't really give you any advice, just wanted to say you're not alone!

Hello just to leave a comment, Isavella do the same. She is now eleven months and she doesn't leave me alone. She wants to be with me all the time. Sometimes I have to get in the car and breathe because she drive me crazy - just a little joke. You are not alone! carmen
