I know the people who own Sammy's parents. We have debated over the beagle thing too. There's just no way. His Mama is pure Boston and his Daddy is pure pappion. The ears on the rest of the puppies stand up. Sammy is the only one who has the floppy ears. They do add character, don't they? I'll try to add a picture of him that shows the rest of his body. Are you sure this is a Bostillion? Have you seen both parents? Just looking at him, I see more Beagle than Boston. A Papillion is a small dog with erect ears, more like the Boston. I know Bostons can go 25 pounds plus, but I just don't see Papillion here. HOWEVER, Sammy is a cutie, and I think those floppy ears are just adorable.
