Hi there,

I am going to be starting a running program and would like to take my two Boston’s with me. I have herd allot that these guys get overheated very easily, and can have some breathing issues. I will be starting with a run/walk, and over 6 weeks working up to a 30 minute run. I thought this would be a good way to get them in shape as well as myself. Do you think this would be too much for their little muzzles to handle? My little girl had a hip and back injury as a pup, but gets along just fine now. My little boy is on a combo of Theopholyn and Chloraphaniramine for allergies. Thanks in advance!!! :-)

Bostons & Running

It might be a good idea to start them off and just see how they do. Bring water with you and be ready to rest at certain intermissions. I am guessing that you might end up purchasing a doggie stroller that you could put them in when they get tired. Then you could keep running. I am positive that they will enjoy the ride. I have seen these strollers on the internet with netting covers so that if your Bostons get excited, they won't just jump out and chase those silly squirrels.
