Roxie...The Love Bugg

Roxie is our BUGG, she had a Boston Mom and Pug Dad.
I got her off Craigs list... for just a small homing fee, she had cherry eye at the time I bought her.
She was 4 months old, and about 12lb. Since then, she has been spay, had her cherry eye fixed, and I did a surgery to slighly open her nostrils, so she will breath better the rest of her life.
NOW, let me tell you...Roxie rules!!
she is THE BEST pup ever...lively, funny, sweet, insanely cute...a wonderful all around family dog.
Her only faults...well,there are a couple...
she is an insatiable sock and underware thief, she has been a little difficult in MASTERING the potty training, and her big downfall...she is a CAR chaser, so she must be on a leash at all times.
I loved her so much right from the start, that I considered NOT having her fixed.
She sleeps with my son...or if I want, she sleeps in my room, she is like a part of our family, and she has only been with us 3.5 months.
It is aleady hard for us to remember LIFE before Roxie!!
aka...Love Bugg, Lady Bugg, Roxinator, Pop-a-Roxie,etc!!

I would recommend a BUGG to any family, though she is very much MY dog, she enjoys socializing with all the family and anyone we are around.

Good luck to all the bugg owners...they are treasures for sure!!

Nostril repair
by: Sandy

How expensive was the nostril repair, and how traumatic was it for Roxie? I have an 8 week bugg who is going to have to have it done, but we just got her and haven't seen the vet yet.

You've done very well by this pup, and she will repay you for years with her love and her antics. Please do keep her on a leash when outdoors, and also teach her "wait" or "back" when you open the door so she doesn't scoot out. Our first Boston was good off leash until a squirrel decided to run across the road, and he was in pursuit. The squirrel survived, and Bogie didn't. It's heartbreaking, and I don't want anyone else to go through what we did that morning. It was truly a nightmare.
