RED EYES

my sister's boston has bloodshot eyes I know it's not cherry eye because I know what that looks like...his eyes look more like ours get when we are really really tired or had one to many the night before
does any one know what might be going on his eyes do not have any injuries

Our Millie used to have red eyes all of the time. We took her to the vet and it turns out she has allergies! We changed her diet which helped a ton. She still has issues sometimes outside but if is really bad the vet told us to give her some good old benadryl!

My Boston had red eyes too.
She was pregnant also.
The vet said to see how it goes for a couple of days and it cleared up.
After you see your vet and does what he says, you should keep the area clean and wipe each eye separately.

It could be dry eyes or even allergies. Are they red all the time of just some on the time because it could be because he had something in his eye such as grit or dust and was rubbing them.
