Puppy Pre-school

Hi

Tonight was our second puppy pre school session, Archie is 16 weeks old and gets so excited that he is almost uncontrollable when not playing with the puppies. He cries, whines and barks when all the other pups are sitting quietly. Is this normal BT behaviour and how can I help him to calm down. The trainer has recommended a few holds and slowly rubbing his belly but this doesn't last long. He is normally quite well behaved at home.
