I have a four year old Boston and she still uses the bathroom in the house. I tried crate training her but she uses the bathroom in the crate also. I had enough its either break the habit or get rid of the dog!!
Thank you for the suggestion i will definetly give that a try.

habits hard to break by: Linda Galway/TurnerME
Good morning,
Just want to mention that the crate she is in needs to be just big enough for her to turn around in. If there is room for her to go in a corner and sleep in another part of the crate, given the habit that has been established, she will likely do that. You may want to take out any bedding in the crate for a while; I had a bloodhound who was peeing on the blanket in the crate. Once I took out the bedding, that stopped. You can always reintroduce bedding at a later date.
Also, will she go outside sometimes? You may need to set up a period of time where you are home with her for a week or more and make that your focus.Every couple of hours take her out, use the words you have established and keep saying them until she does the business you want, (say "Good pee" or whatever you use while she's doing it) THEN immediately take her into the house saying "In for a treat" or whatever she would understand and once inside again, give her a treat and praise. If she has accidents in the house, they should be minimal if you are watching her carefully. You should be able to establish new habits, but it will take some work on your part. Good luck.
