Potty Training Help

My Boston Terrier is almost 5 months old. She will go potty outside if I take her out. The problem is that she will not let me know when she has to go. I go to the same door, do the praises when she goes and still she will not tell me ,or go and stand by the door. I am trying to get her to "speak" before we go out, but she just does not get it. Help!

Hi. My husband and I have two beautiful boston terriers. They are six mo apart. The only thing that worked for us was putting a jingle bell on the door knob. We rang it every time we took ours out. The pups eventually caught on and it was great. They do not need the bell now cuz they are older but man did it work. GOOD LUCK!

We just take ours out every hour. Only one tells us when she needs to go.
