Our 5 month old Boston boy Louie was by far the easiest dog we have ever trained. We hung bells by all of the doors and when we took him out, we showed him the bell, placed his paw on the bell and said the word "potty". He got a treat every time he did this. We took him out "a lot" at the beginning--every hour during the day and at least twice at night. Within 4-5 days he had it! Now, he goes to a bell and rings it when he has to go out. No accidents so far (fingers crossed). The only downside of the bell is he rings it to get our attention about other things as well--when he wants to play or wants a treat. After a while, we discerned which ring meant what. Now we're teaching him to wipe his paws.

Potty training by: Tami
For the most part I would say YES! We have 2 female boston puppies that are 6 mos. old now. We got them at 4 mos. old and began to work with them immediately. 2 months later we are only having the occaisional accident and that mainly happens when it rains. We were able to offer them doggy doors which help ALOT and I make sure they go out within an 1/2 hr after eating. Although it never takes that long. Good Luck! Bostons are very smart and catch on quickly. So have a plan and be consistant. You'll have them potty trained in no time. OH Yea, have a carpet cleaner on hand for in the beginning!!! You'll be thankfull for that.
