Penny

Penny can play for 24 hours straight. Fortunately, I need sleep. She is almost seven years old and weighs in at 14.5 lbs. I rescued her two years ago and she weighed 13 lbs. She will give up food to play ball. She can jump in the air to catch a ball. She's crazy!

You're Penny sounds like my Lil, who just never stops with the ball. Lil has now worked out that if she places her ball on the edge of the top step of my back stairs the ball will roll down - there are 19 steps so she gets a bit of a workout chasing the ball down the steps and then running back up to start it all over again, and again, and again........

My Lilith is also a 'ball' freak - carries one with her everywhere and continuously drops it in front of your feet while you are walking - obviously in the hope that you will nudge it. She was lucky enough one day to get a young horse to participate in her ball game - she dropped the ball close to it, the horse sniffed it, the ball moved, Lil picked it up and dropped it back close to the horse, which again sniffed the ball, the ball moved, and so on. Kept Lilith busy for about 10 minutes - just wish I had a camcorder with me.
