Panda- We have a Problem!

Who wants to play?????

Who wants to play?????

My Bo-Jack (Panda) is problematic eater. To sum it up, I have 6 cats and she see's the cats eating "their" food. And she doesnt eat her own food. I tried many, many different brands to appeal to her, but no go. I think shes a CAT! She will hold out ONLY for cat food. She sneaks when I'm not looking to eat the cat food, when "her" tasty food is sitting right there!

Is this healthy? She's 9 months old, and had lost a little weight from not eating. But is very very active and strong.

What can I do?

Hi There

i have a 9 month old boy and he seems to be getting more and more fussier when it comes to food, he's very interested in what i'm eating but no so much his own food. Its now Monday and he hasnt eaten since Friday! i've taken him to the vet as he is losing weight and the vet said its very normal, i'm not to sure but i have noticed that boston's are very DIVA and will do what they want when they want. Its very frustrating, try feeding the cats higher up, when she's hungry she'll eat.

Cat food is definitely made for cats. You might want to try feeding him in a different room and at a different time so that he feels "special". We put 1/2 cup of food in our pups bowl in the morning and set it in our room while we are getting ready. In 15 minutes we take it up. (usually it is all gone)
Then we do the same in the evening. If he misses a feeding he definitely eats the next opportunity. We do the same with out cat but we feed her in "her place" by the back door and she gets just enough for what she will eat in one sitting. That way there is no "stealing" going on.
