Panda - Bo-Jack

Hyper? Inexhaustible energy? Oh lord thats an understatment for my 3 month old Bo-Jack! I was thinking that the seller slipped a Boston Terrier skin over the body of a Jack Russell!!! My sons GF asked me "Is there something wrong with Panda?" Because she kept jumping on her and she doesn't sit still for a second. My son says I dont know how you do it. She is so sweet though, It does drive me a bit crazy everytime I get out of my chair (she's sleeping at the time and wakes) and has to follow my every move, why is that?

Another BIG problem I have with her is she always bites, I have marks all over my hands from this, they are playful bites but this must be dealt with along with jumping on people.

Any advice on house training?

nipping

We have a 1.5 yr-old bo-jack, Jane, looks very much like yours. Ours had a nipping problem, often "tested" my wife. Too much energy, didn't know what to do with herself. Only time she seemed calm was after a doggie playdate or when we had company and she had lots of stuff to deal with. Our answer was positive-reinforcment training, and to get a 8 month old mini-poodle. The poodle runs circles around Jane, and since they occupy each other, Jane gets a lot of mental stimulation along with exercise. Now Jane putters around the house :-). Still energetic at times, but super-affectionate and hasn't nipped at all or "tested" anyone. Major change, like a whole different dog. Jack Russells need mental stimulation to exhaust them. Physical exercise is important, but they will wear you down long before you will wear them out. They must have other dogs to interact with or activities to deal with mentally.
