owner of two boston terriers

I have two boston terrier, Razor is 3yrs old and Annabelle is going to be 2. Annabelle is from razors brother. I have 2 questions. First, Annabelle loves to lick. she always licks razor like a momma dog taking care of her baby and when she is sitting with you she starts to lick on you. Is this normal or is she lacking something in her diet?

Second, when we travel, Annabelle loves to go but she pants constantly and I don't know if that is excitement or what. She doesn't seem stressed out but I don't know. On our last road trip which was about 11/2 I put her in a collaspable dog crate with her toys and blanket from home, but the whole way she did the same thing. Do I keep doing this or what? I don't want to do anything that could bring any harm to her in any way. Help, please.

Dog licks.

Dogs like to lick. Some more than others. Especially females. You can train her not to lick if you don't like it. We train ours to lick our feet cuz we like it.

Also, some dogs like the car ride and some don't. I wonder why you say she likes the ride. If our's don't like the ride they pant and the one that loves the ride does not pant. Perhaps yours likes the ride just a little more than the average dog and that's why she pants.

If ours likes the ride we take them and we leave the ones that don't like it at home.
