Our boy Marius (Mar-ee-us)

This is Marius's brother, Rocky, who lives right next door to us. here is Marius n Rocky side by side. You can see that While Marius looks more like a Boston, Rocky took on the Chihuahua traits.

Our dog Marius (Mar-ee-us) came to us in Feb 2010 as a birthday present for our daughter. Right at the start we could tell he was meant to be with us; as my fiance was playing with two of the other puppies he came up & climbed right up in her lap and looked at her as if to say "You're taking me home."; it was love at first sight. Once we got him home, we started training him as to what his boundaries were in the house and even at 4-6 weeks old, he understood. As he grew, we started to really see his personality unfold. He never really barks, but does whine when he wants something or sees/hears his blood brother, who lives across the street, come out. He is very energetic and loves/demands a lot of attention. One of his favorite things to do is play fight (box) with us, that's the only time we have ever heard his growl or snarl n that's just for play. He doesn't whine when we leave the house, although he will refuse to give us kisses by turning his head; but when we get home he demands that one of us pick him up to say hello. If we don't, he will sit there and "gargle" at us until we do; and then its all kisses n nuzzles for a few minutes. He is very tolerant and loves to play with our 6 year old daughter, as well as ANY other kids that cross his path. He love playing with tennis balls and anytime one gets stuck, he shows how smart he by figuring out a way to get it unstuck.
