One Floppy Ear

I have a 6.5 old BT male. One ear has been up for two months and the other one has a tip that is still floppy. It stands above that natural break in the ear but the top just isn't making it. I've heard teething can affect their ears....can't tell if he's done teething or not. I've got some fabric medical tape inside the ear. Will this help? Anyone had experience with this?

My BT's are just house pets. Their ears flop a little at the top. If you are getting your BT ready for show then I have heard that taping them does work. Seems like it would bother the pup, though.
