OFF The wall question

I have a raised ranch home and I live in southern Cananda. To get to my backyard you have to walk out on to a patio. The thing that concerns me most is during the snow season and making sure they are alright going down the stairs to let them out. Is there any other solution other than the front lawn? One of the 2 bostons likes to bolt so that is not an option.

Potty Time

If you are wondering about "Potty time" then there are these "doggie litter boxes" you can get either at the pet store or online. They say to put litter in there because it is more like the ground outside than a pee pad would be. Also, I have seen these "pee mats" that simulate grass. I think I saw it on the Animal Planet channel but you could probably do an internet search.

If you are looking for a place they can play outside, you can get the fences/play pen. We have one for the pups when we want to take them outside while we cut the grass etc... But when they get big, they can jump over it.
