My 2 month old Boston terrier has seemed to develop little tiny bumps on the tips of her ears...she doesn't seem to scratch at them or care when I feel them but it's a bit strange to me...any help?
Our pup started to have bumps on his ears at about 5 months they seemed like dry skin, as they started spread we called our vet and he recommended to put a dab of neosporin... It worked wonderfully! The bumps just "fell off" and his ears are perfect and smooth now... The downside of not doing scrapes... We don't know what it was!! Good luck!

I would talk to the vet first of all. In my experience allergies start on the ears and belly which are most sensitive. Have you added any flea medication that is new? It also might be a food allergy. It is common for food allergies to affect ears. Bostons have sensitive stomachs and some may have allergies to gluten which is in some of the cheaper dog foods. I would NEVER feed them grocery store dog food these are the highest recalled foods for a reason.

+ Bumps do not grow on Bostons for no reason so I would have your vet check it out. He can do a scrape and look at it under the microscope. If there are mites there he will see them. Also, if it's an allergy he can give you some treatment options. You sure don't want the problem to get bigger. At the least you might want to dab them with a vinegar and water mixture and wash with an anti-bacterial soap.
