Neutering Senior Boston Terrier

Has anyone neutered their 13 year old BT with a slight heart murmur? If the bloodwork comes back ok, I want to have my BT neutered.
The anesthetic they use is sevoflourene. His enlarged prostate has caused a perianal hernia which can make it difficult for him to poop.
He is currently on an antibiotic as he has an infection. It is helping and he's gotten back some of his extra spunk.
