My year old Boston is shaking, yelping, etc.

Just recently starting acting very much unlike his usual self. He has no energy, he shakes from time to time, yelps if moved or tries to put his front paws up on something. He hasn't been eating much but has been drinking water. I took him to the vet because I noticed blood in his stool recently and the vet didn't find anything physically wrong with my pup. :( Im worried. Anyone have a familiar experience?
