My puppy boston throws up his food every time he eats

I have a boston puppy that throws up his food every time he eats. I took him to the vet and they told me to bottle feed him. So I have. When I got him they told me that he has been throwing up since he has been 4 1/2 weeks old.I don't want him to die.I have tried all kinds of different dog foods and he still throws up. Can you please help? I didn't know if some boston terriers do that. Thanks

perhaps more testing needed

I sure hope they did an xray or an ultrasound of his stomach to make sure there is no blockage causing him to vomit. It's not normal to vomit "every" time one eats. I wish you and your little one the BEST of luck.

Check the Palette

Have a vet who knows about flat faced dog breeds check your dogs palate. An elongated palate will cause vomiting.

Throwing Up

My dog I rescued. I had the same problem and taking her to the vet and spending alot of money I joined Dogster. I researched all the natural food and came to a conclusion, My dog has to eat natural stuff. Her stomach wont digest the crap the put in dog food. I started her on Innova and California Natural. They have a web site if you search it. I asked for some free samples, told them the problem and with great luck she enjoyed it and kept her food down. Its the only thing that works. There is also wellness which will send you free samples. I think she enjoys the natural flavor and no by-product food. I hope this helps

I have an 8 week boston that keeps doing the same thing. It is worth the $60 visit to have it checked out, if for nothing else, your peace of mind. I am taking my little guy today after work. I am assuming he is ok since he is still passing firm feces and is very playful. It may be nothing more than changing his food or perhaps giving him tiny portion such as just a few bites at a time, so he doesn't swallow it whole and swallow lot of air along with it.
