My Boston Terrier is Losing Her Hair!!!

Hi Yall!

My beloved Boston, Coco, has been having hair issues since she was a pup. We feed her purely grain free food, top of the line corn, no wheat no by product. She was on wellness, but we switched her to taste of the wild which is also grain free. In any event, she goes through stages where her hair loss is pretty "normal" but lately its been awful! She will sit on the couch and jump off and there is a little Coco print with her hair that she left behind. Yesterday I was giving her a good back scratching and her hair was coming out to the point where I had to go get the vacuum. I have taken her to the vet and I only bathe her in soothing aloe and oatmeal shampoos (scent free etc etc). So far nothing helps. I have read some places that suggest fish oil, has anyone had any luck with that? Could it be stress? Her normal routine hasn't changed any. Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thank you!

Mine is having that problem, but sadly....
by: Edwin Malave & Dante

After taking my Boston (Dante Malave) to the vet and having some skin lab test it came out with this supposed hereditary skin disease like scabies or something... real name in Spanish since I am from Puerto Rico is (Demodexia Canina) or Demodex Canis. Sadly this is passed to the pups if the breeders are irresponsible enough to mix dogs with this disease. My vet told me to spay the dog since its the most responsible thing to do. It's sad because he is the common BT with the colors and marks... how should be, very intelligent, and playful. Thats why all I'm saying to everybody is to go check the Breeder history in the vet if you are getting dogs that are this expensive. or if you see it as a great deal (cheap) watch out. Since now I will have to watch more carefully my dogs health for life :(

Boston Terrier Hair Loss

Prin also has a horrid rash. Thought that it was heat, bug, not enough bath, diet, etc. Everything seems to be a problem. I tried anti-allergy things; nothing helps. Or nothing helps for long.
