My boston is too skinny..please help

Hello my name is JJ and I am 11 months.... My mom has followed all the vet feeding instructions but yet I am too skinny... you can even see my bones... My mom is really worried and has an appointment on monday with my vet but she wants some advice on what to feed me... you see i love my food...its called Halo and she feeds me 3 times a day half of can or a little bit more... so please adv if am too skinny for my age... I am only 12 pounds! :'( but I look to skinny!!! :'(

You may want to make sure he has a good quality kibble left out all the time so he can eat when ever he is hungry. as a young dog he may have a high metabolism rate and burn through his food fast.... after all he is in that teenage stage. Another cause could be a hyper- thyroid which is easy to treat with medication.
