My Boston hates taping his ears...

I have an 11 week old Boston. One if his ears stands perfectly but the other is floppy (at the natural fold). I tried to tape his ear... But he just shakes or kicks the tape off right away! Any ideas how I can get him to just leave the tape alone? The tape would work if he would leave it on.

My boston had the same problem and we tried taping to no avail. But they both stand up beautifully now and they did all on their own! Also, don't forget they may flop backwards later as he or she starts teething.Mine did this too which really confused me. But after the puppy stages were all over we have a beautiful 9 month old baby Bella!

Unless he's a show dog, I wouldn't bother. My first BT's ears were up and down multiple times, first one side, then the other, until he was several months old. I would say by the time he was 6-8 months, his ears were upright. This is not unusual.

I've seem photos, and it looks as though they use something like "moleskin" inside the ears to keep them erect.
