My Boston, Dorothy! She's our joy and love!

Dorothy is truly the joys of our lives! She is 10 months old. She loves to play and snuggle and go for "car rides". She has a had a rough start to her life, but is doing great now. At 8 weeks of age she had a stomach bug and wouldn't eat anything. She finally got better with the help of our awesome vet and our care and love for her. We decided in December to have her spayed. Well, that didn't go as planned. She aspirated when they removed the tube and ended up with a Megaesophagus and pneumonia. We almost lost her. It was without a doubt the scariest 5 days of our lives. Our vet was amazing and stayed with her 24 hours a day. He had her on high doses of antibiotics and in an oxygen tent and on breathing treatments. He was also feeding her with a dropper! Thanks to Dr. Sloan and his staff and our baby girl's will to live, she's healthy and strong today! I love my Boston Terrier more than words can express!!
