My Boston is 9 months old and is the biggest Boston Terrier I have ever seen. He weighs 27 lbs and is not overweight. He is just a large boston. His parents were both small so I have no idea where his size came from but his name is Moose. He obviously grew into his name, it was ironic because my boyfriend has a Pitbull that is 97 lbs so we thought it would be funny to name the puppy Moose.... little did we know he would actually be a Moose. He sits, and gives his paw. He is adorable which is good because he gets himself in enough trouble. I have pictures and video that I just have to share because he is my baby and he is adorable!

Mine's bigger
by: dcozad999

We have a 1 1/2 year old brown (not brindle) Boston named Coco, and he weighs in at a pretty solid 37 lbs. If there's any fat on him, it's only 2 or 3 lbs. A few people have told me he is the biggest Boston they've ever seen.

The funny thing is, the breeder we bought him from told us his parents were small so he would probably only be about 12 lbs. She bred brown Bostons and Pit Bulls, but he came with papers and looks 100% Boston. She also had a Creme colored Boston (almost white) puppy when we went to pick Coco up. Only one I have ever seen. Matter of fact I think mine is one of the only Brown one's I've ever seen.

It's cool to hear people comment on his size (a lot of people think he's a baby boxer), but I would have preferred him to be 12-15 lbs.

Good to see some big Bostons! I have a Boston who is 7 months old and weight 26 lbs. Super stocky, not an ounce of fat on him! He runs and swims in our pool and at the lake all the time.... he's in great shape and probably has some more growing to do!

Moose

i just LOVE pictures of Moose! I've had Boston Terries since DEC 1986....they are the love of my life!!! I bred my first Boston Female, Samantha..my Sweet Bup & Best Friend. she had 4 puppies (buppies) on her 5th Birthday. she had problems after her 1st pup was born at home & # hrs later she had a c-section & had 3 more i kept the runt, Munchkin but the lil' girl b4 here died. Anyway, her only male i sold & by 2 1/2 mos old he was as big as your Moose. He was big but never over weight, ALL muscle & he was handsome!! He lived for 15 yrs. Samantha was very petite & she died at 12 1/2 yrs & the Stud was just a lil' taller but very muscular. Moose looks HEALTHY & Lovable so I would not worry about his size...he's PERFECT!!!!

Our Boston Buddha is almost three and is 32 lbs. Same thing, not fat very muscular. He was around 25 lbs at one year. I think he is done growing and we love his size.

I love him! Our 1st Boston was predicted to be around 16 lbs., and at 2 he was 25 pounds and not overweight either. He died that year, so who knows? He probably would have had another pound or two in the ensuring years. Moose is awesome.
