I adopted Missy and when I firstgot her I thought I would go out of my mind.She was totally out of control.I believe she had been abused.It took a lot of patience and a lot of work.Although it was very stressful, I refused to give her away , because I was afraid the wrong person would abuse her because it takes a lot of patience and love to train a dog who has been abused.Now she is so much better and such a loving sweet adorable pet.IO have grown very close to her and she is still adjusting but very well.~:@)

You have a good heart and a wonderful heartwarming story about Missy; I understand how you feel. I once kept a mean cat because I knew if I gave him away he would be abused. I'm thrilled that your loving care is bringing about changes in Missy.

We also adopted a BT, and her problem wasn't physical abuse but rather neglect. As a result, she is very "needy" for attention, but she has improved tremendously over the past 3 years.

She has a reason to smile, and so do you.
