I'm often asked where people can find a miniature Boston Terrier or a teacup Boston Terrier.

The AKC Breed Standard simply defines a single Boston Terrier breed, which may be shown in three different weight classes.

There is no specific distinction for a "miniature" or "teacup" sized Boston Terrier, although it seems that many people are referring to those dogs in the smallest weight class (under 15 pounds) this way.

If you are looking for a Boston Terrier that is in this lower end of size, consult with the breeder regarding the size of the puppies' parents. Although it's not a guarantee, it should give an indication of the size the puppy will be.
