Male or female boston terrier puppy?

I have a 5 yr old female boxer and want to get a boston terrier puppy. I want to know if anyone would suggest a male or female puppy to go along with my female boxer.

Eaiser to house break, our female pup who passed away yesterday at 11 years, took less then three days to be house broken. We love you Maddy.

You should go with a male pup. It is suggested to get the oposite sex of the existing dog in your home.

I have a boxer as well and was told female boxers don't do well with other females except if introduced as puppies they tend to do okay. I would vote for a male puppy!
