Male Boston Terrier Urinating on his chest

I recently rescued a 1.5 year old male Boston Terrier. He is a wonderful dog, except that he urinates on his chest when he goes outside. He is not fixed and hikes his leg. I took him to the vet, and it was recommended to neuter him, which may help the strong urinary odor but would not prevent him from urinating on himself. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Peeing on himself too!
by: Hazel

Mine does too! He lifts his leg and the stream goes out, but then his leg slowly lowers (he's lazy!) and he ends up peeing on his feet and then his chest! He cant wear a regular sweater cause it's always wet! Lol just a Boston thing I guess.

Urinary Postures

Sounds like our Bostons:
Each has his/her "special" way of eliminating!
It's kind of funny to watch their postures.
We just laugh. Especiall when they fall over.
My suggestion for you is to buy those "bath wipes" at the store (Even HEB has some) and clean him off each time. Also... our male only hikes when there is another male around or a female in heat. So maybe, if you neuter him AND try to "go" in another spot where a male is not present (nor females in heat) perhaps he will change his "position".
