My Puppy is a Jack Russell/Boston Terrier Mix. He is 12 weeks old and a joy! Everyone has been telling us "good luck with that" because of the two breeds. They say he is suppose to be VERY hyper-but we haven't seen any of that. He loves to play but loves to sleep as well! We have had him for a week and he is already night kennel trained. Only took 2 nights for that to happen.He has never had an accident in it! He has no seperation anxiety. He just started puppy classes yesterday. He is the most playful of the bunch. He just wants to wrestle! He is very quiet and we haven't even heard him bark yet! He is about 10 lbs and has big paws! We were told he wasn't going to get any bigger then 30 lbs. I would recomend this breed. Don't be nervous over this mix and thinking that your puppy will be overly hyper. We got very lucky!

Love at first sight.....

Hey there,

Your love is understood. We have 2 pups Boston/J.R. Mix (Rosie and Buck) and we have a blast with them. They are so very affectionate and have that same "spunk" that I have never seen in any other breed. They are wonderful with our children and get along with our 3 cats. We do have to watch Buck , can get a bit rough with Rosie. He is about 10 lbs heavier and wants to rough house. She will run to the closest person for refuge. My husband has been going out in the evening and letting them run behind the snowmobile. They do several laps, keeping right up behind that machine. They sure are tired and ready for bed. I had many negative comments made to me about these dogs and frankly , I have found a breed that I am "totally" in love with . Enjoy Maddox for who he is....the little man you fell for !! :)

Updates on Maddox

So that high energy thing I said he didn't have? YEAH WELL....forget that! haha He's a nutter! He wrestles with all dogs! I get a little nervous around small dogs because he just gets in everyones face! But we have been working on commands and he is VERY VERY smart :) And the chewing on everything is frustrating! But what can ya do, its love :) I would love to keep in touch with other JRT/Boston Mix owners if anyones interested! I would love to know any tips etc..
