Love my BT

My boston has a severe ear infection and
The vet has been NO help!! He is consistantly
Itching.... He does it so much it starts bleeding
I also believe this is effecting his hearing
Anyone have any ideas please help...I feel
Terrible I know it hurts and I got Nothing!!!!!

 Canesten + claning twice a day for 10 days

My BT has the same thing.
Canesten for yeast infections works AMAZING you have to clean the ear twice a day and make sure to gently clean the residue from the outside ear. once you remove the grossness you put some Canesten on it or an Anti Fungal cream you find in any pharmacy.

After 10 days it wil be gone!!!

My five year old Boston, had a similar problem. The vet said the bacteria/yeast infection is usually caused by water getting trapped in their ears. After a two weeks of ointment medication the infection cleared up. The vet suggested a home remedy to prevent the infection from coming back. Its three equal parts; rubbing alcohol, vinegar, and apple cider. After every bath I flush this mixer into my Boston's ears and the infection has not come back :)

 Yeast Infection?

My BT would do the same thing and when I would rub her ears, I could hear fluid squishing around in there. She was diagnosed with a chronic yeast infection in her ears & we were given prescription ear wash & an anti-fungal ointment. I would wash her ears once per week or when I noticed she was scratching them, and that worked well. Hope this helps!
