I've wanted a boston for about 3 years, and I finally found my match about 6 months ago. I got Pabst as a rescue from a backyard breeder. He just turned 2. I found out recently he tested heartworm positive and the people that had him just didn't want to pay for it, but I can't imagine NOT doing it, and so we're currently in the middle of treatment. He's my best friend, my cuddle buddy, and the one boy who means the world to me. His left eye has a corneal abrasion, but we just call it his "future seein' eye." I think it just gives him character. :)

Watch his eye carefully. Our BT developed acute glaucoma within 3 weeks and lost her eye. Have the Vet check his eye!

What a great story, and thank you for sharing it with us. There's something so heartwarming about saving and rescuing a Boston from a bad situation. Kudos! Good luck with your boy.
